About Liberation in a Generation (LibGen)

LibGen is a national movement support organization building the power of people of color to totally transform the economy—who controls it, how it works, and most importantly, for whom. We are bringing together economists, advocates, community organizers, and other proven and emerging leaders of color across the country to build a Liberation Economy, within one generation. Liberation in a Generation is incubating in PolicyLink.

LibGen supports racial and economic justice organizers in transforming their demands to policy to law. We do this through direct consulting, amplifying a new story of the economy, and supporting organizers’ political power. The LibGen consultancy provides popular education workshops, policy development expertise, and advice on policy advocacy. The services build organizations’ economic policy analysis, which in turn, ideally informs and supports the campaign strategies they are crafting and pursuing.
